About the Role:
You will lead the architecture of Care Access PBC AI systems — from real-time medical triage and symptom checkers to backend model orchestration and healthcare LLM fine-tuning.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the AI system architecture for triage, search, care matching, and multi-modal reasoning.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build safe, ethical, and scalable AI features.
- Lead integration of third-party LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, open-source) and in-house tuning pipelines.
- Implement feedback loops for model learning using real-world user data (fully anonymized).
- Define best practices for AI safety, data governance, and edge deployment.
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in applied AI, 3+ years leading ML system architecture.
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FHIR, and ethical AI governance frameworks.
- Track record of deploying AI in healthcare, telemedicine, or similar domains.
